Pandora server - [email protected] - 02-14-2019

Hi,
I'm new to PandoraFMS. I have it installed on CentOS 7 with MariaDB as db server. I have Pandora Console setup as per instructions, however server is not showing up under "Pandora FMS Servers" so the agents are not getting monitored. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Regards,
Eugene

Greetings, [email protected]

Have you tried to start Pandora FMS server? You can do it by running the following command in your terminal:

/etc/init.d/pandora_server start

If you are not able to start the server please take a look at the logs, you can find them in:

/var/log/pandora/pandora_server.log

Please let us know if this solves your problem.

Regards,

Eduardo.

Hello everyone,

I'm having the same looking issue as Eugene. I cannot see any server on Pandora FMS Servers list. (see attached screenshot)

However, I've managed to start server Pandora FMS

pro tip: You have to update database user password in /etc/pandora/pandora_server.conf with password displayed to you during installation.

Code:
:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/pandora_server restart
Stopping Pandora FMS Server

Good morning, pizycki

I apologize for any inconvenience regarding the previous message. I just wrote if you could take a look at your pandora_server.conf file to see the status of the servers you are trying to start.

Please do check that their value is "1" to see if all of them are activated. Then proceed to restart pandora_server.

Kind regards,

Eduardo.

What status are you referring to?

I checked configuration file and ensured that:

master = 1
networkserver = 1
dataserver = 1
reconvserver = 1
pluginserver=1
wmiserver = 1

Is there anything else should I look for?

Should I really look into configuration file to see if all of my servers are up? This seems kind of odd to me.

Hello pizycki,

Can you check if the console and the server are pointing at the same database (pandora as default)?

It is strange, when you start pandora_server for first time, all the servers must appear in Manage servers screen.
